Cancellations - Respect for Our Stylists' Time

Please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a 40% cancellation fee (up to $100), with one 'Get out of jail' free pass available.

At Wind + Willow, we highly value the time and commitment of our talented stylists, as well as the importance of ensuring that our appointments run smoothly. To maintain the quality of our services and respect for our professionals, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

 

1. Cancellation Notice:

Customers are kindly requested to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This advance notice allows us to efficiently manage our schedules and provide opportunities for other clients who may be seeking appointments.

 

2. Cancellation Fee:

Should a customer cancel or reschedule their appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time or fail to attend without prior notice, a cancellation fee will be applicable. The cancellation fee is set at 40% of the total cost of the scheduled appointment, with a maximum charge limit of $100.

 

3. "Get out of Jail" Free Pass:

In recognition of unforeseen circumstances, each customer is granted one "Get out of jail" free pass. This means that the first time a customer cancels within the 24-hour window, they will not be subject to the cancellation fee.

 

4. Subsequent Cancellations:

After utilizing their "Get out of jail" free pass, if a customer cancels within 24 hours of their appointment for a second time or more, they will be subject to the cancellation fee as described in point 2 above.

 

5. Show Respect for Our Stylists:

We ask our valued clients to understand that our stylists dedicate their time and expertise to deliver exceptional service. By adhering to this cancellation policy, you not only help us maintain our high-quality standards but also demonstrate respect for the dedication and hard work of our team.

 

6. How to Cancel:

To cancel or reschedule appointments, kindly contact us directly through phone, email, or through any of the forms on our website. Please provide your name, appointment date and time, and a contact number in your cancellation request.

 

7. Appeals:

If a customer believes there are exceptional circumstances that warrant exemption from the cancellation fee, they may submit an appeal in writing within 7 days of the missed appointment. Our management team will review the appeal and make a determination based on the circumstances presented.

Late Arrivals

If you anticipate that you'll be running late for your reservation time, we ask that you give us a call to let us know.  If you are running more than 15 minutes late, we will try our very best to accommodate you.  However, some services will be required to be rescheduled if there isn't enough time to complete your service.  

Scheduling

We are an appointment only salon.  However, you may just luck up and get a same day available appointment.  But please know, most of our appointments have been scheduled 4 - 6 weeks out.
